Art with Purpose: Supporting Children with Disabilities

Art is more than color and form — it carries power, responsibility, and connection. For me, every creation is an opportunity to give back, to turn creativity into compassion.

Over the years, I’ve been honored to collaborate with the Children’s Foundation (Lastefond) at the University of Tartu, Estonia, supporting children with disabilities in meaningful ways. My goal has been simple: let art inspire, heal, and make a tangible difference.

Collaboration Highlights

  • Fundraising through Art Sales: A portion of proceeds from each exhibition has been donated directly to the Lastefond, helping provide vital resources for children in need.

  • Supporting Specific Therapies: Funds have helped cover essential equipment, like speech processors for children with hearing impairments, and have supported innovative therapies such as hippotherapy (equestrian therapy) for children with conditions like Down syndrome.

  • Awareness and Events: My artworks have been featured at foundation events, including the Lastefond’s 10th-anniversary celebration, raising awareness and inspiring others to contribute.

  • Ambassador Role: The foundation has highlighted my contributions on social media and in press releases, showcasing how creativity can make a real impact.

Through these collaborations, I’ve learned that art is a tool for change — not just for beauty, money, or recognition. Every exhibition, every brushstroke, and every show is an opportunity to support children, spark hope, and make kindness visible.
